Finding Our True North: Gratitude This Season

Dear OH Community,
As we move toward the close of 2025, our hearts are full of gratitude. This year delivered opportunities we are deeply thankful for—and, like all meaningful journeys, it also brought unexpected turns. Some plans didn’t unfold the way we envisioned, and some desired outcomes weren’t fully met. Yet in true Optimal Healing spirit, we lean in, learn, notice distraction, return to the present moment, and begin again.
One thing remained constant: the strength of our team and the trust of our community.
In October alone, our providers supported over 1,200 unique client and customer visits—an all-time high. This milestone reflects both the growing need for accessible support in our region and the dedication of our strong team of clinicians, healers, and staff who show up with compassion and purpose every day.
At OH, our mission is simple and profound: to support individuals in any part of their healing journey through mind-body wellness, connection, and integrative care. We believe that the best gift we can offer our families, friends, communities, and the generations to come is our own healing. When we tend to what is unresolved within us, we rewrite patterns, open possibilities, and create ripple effects that extend far beyond our individual lives.
Our team works hard to cultivate a space where you feel safe, supported, grounded, and held. And our Core Four—myself, Danielle, Shannon, and Kara—are committed to continuing this work with great care. In 2026, we will be carving out monthly client days to expand access to alternative healing styles, somatic tools, and integrative wellness opportunities across all services.
We also have exciting community events coming this winter, including guided hikes and a Solstice Celebration. Keep an eye out—there is so much goodness ahead.
As the holiday season approaches, we encourage everyone to support local businesses. OH gift cards for both services and shop purchases are available—and for every $100 gift card bought, you’ll receive a free sauna pass as our thank-you.
Community sustains community. This year, we are matching donations to the Berkshire Food Project up to $1,000 to support local food security efforts during a time when our nation is deeply impacted by this crisis. In addition, we proudly contributed over $5,000 to North Berkshire organizations, including youth sports teams, local schools, arts programs, and disability support agencies such as:
Northern Berkshire Girls Softball League
BFAIR
Florida Mountain School
Clarksburg School
Berkshire Dance Theatre
Studio North…and more.
Your support makes these impacts possible.
A gentle reminder this week: not all holidays feel happy or easy, and that’s okay. Healing is not linear. Honor the holiday, honor yourself, notice what you need, and begin again.
Thank you for choosing OH, for trusting us, for walking your healing paths with courage, and for helping us grow into a more connected, resilient, and empowered community.
With gratitude—think global, act local. —Ashley & The Optimal Healing Team
